Medisafe presentation on WFHSS
Medisafe presented on WFHSS small plastic tubes filled with a detergent to keep tips of MIS-instruments moist during disposal.
It seems to be a simple solution for a critical part. In general any type of moist transportation may make cleaning easier but also may have the potential for additional corrosion. Wolfgang Fuchs and the AKI published an article about this in 2008. Further research should be done on a more complex geometry.
